What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how GetsIt AI uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies. Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar browser storage tools that help remember preferences or temporary app state.
We use a global opt-in model for non-essential analytics. Essential cookies are always active because they are needed for login, security, and core product functionality.
Strictly necessary cookies
bynax_session
This HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in and protects authenticated product routes. It is set when you log in or register, uses SameSite=Lax, applies across the site, and currently expires after 30 days. It is required for the service and cannot be disabled through the cookie banner.
Analytics cookies
We use Microsoft Clarity only after you accept analytics cookies. Clarity helps us understand page views and product interactions so we can improve the experience.
Microsoft Clarity
When analytics is allowed, Clarity may set cookies such as _clck, _clsk, CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, and SM. Microsoft describes these cookies as used for analytics, session stitching, user identification, and related service operations. We configure Clarity as analytics-only and do not use it for advertising.
Local and session storage
getsit_theme
Stores the light or dark theme preference in your browser.
getsit_board_view
Stores your preferred task board view.
getsit_demo_tutorial_v2
Remembers whether the demo tutorial has been dismissed for the current browser session.
bynax_pending_analysis
Stores temporary calendar analysis state so the interface can recover during navigation.
stcm.bynax.*
Stores your cookie consent choices from the Silktide consent manager, including whether analytics has been accepted or rejected. This preference is stored in browser local storage with no expiry date, so it persists until you clear your browser data. It is per-device and per-browser, so you may be asked again on a different device or browser.
How to manage choices
You can accept analytics, reject non-essential cookies, or open preferences from the cookie banner. After you make a choice, a cookie preferences control remains available so you can change or withdraw consent later.
If you withdraw analytics consent after having previously accepted, the page will reload so that the analytics service does not run in that session. Your withdrawal takes effect immediately from that reload onward.
If you clear browser data, use another browser, or use another device, you may need to set your cookie preferences again.
Advertising and retargeting
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking. No third-party ad networks have access to information collected on this site. If this changes, we will update this Cookie Policy and the consent banner before any advertising technology is deployed.
Third-party services
Microsoft Clarity is the only browser analytics service currently used by GetsIt AI. Microsoft may process analytics information according to its own privacy documentation and service terms.
If we add advertising, retargeting, embedded media, payment widgets, support chat, or additional analytics services, we will review this Cookie Policy and update the consent categories before those technologies are used.
Updates
We update this Cookie Policy when our cookies, browser storage, analytics tools, or consent setup changes. The updated date above shows when this page was last revised.
